"When we were launching Ireland’s first regional radio station, I had no
hesitation in buying Myriad; Scoop and Powerlog."

Recommended PC Spec's For PowerLog Lite
The following PC specification is recommended for
PowerLog Capture PC's:
Midi Tower Case |
Celeron4 2.6GHz CPU + Fan |
P4 ATX with NIC Mainboard |
256MB DDR266 RAM |
Standard Videocard |
Floppy Drive |
52x CDROM Drive |
2 x 80GB Serial HDD |
Hardware Mirror RAIDcard |
Optical Mouse |
Standard Keyboard |
15" CRT Monitor |
MS Win 2000 Pro Software |
SB Live 5.1 Soundcard |
Obviously, the type of monitor you use has no
bearing but the type of soundcard you use does. PowerLog Lite can
only log one stereo or two mono sources so a multi-channel soundcard
is not needed. If a more professional card is required then
substitute the Sound Blaster for a semi-pro card like
Delta 44 or
an Echo Mia.
A Hardware disk drive mirror (RAID1) is highly recommended for all
PowerLog systems as it helps to guard against data loss by
simultaneously writing to two drives such that if one drive fails,
the other continues so you don't loose data and your system keeps
going. For more technical advice talk to
