Myriad Playout & Automation
The team at P Squared have been developing playout
and automation systems for more than a decade and our flagship
playout system, Myriad, is now one of the most used systems in the
UK today with more than 300 active sites relying on the software on
a daily basis.
Myriad is generally used to playout the majority of
the audio output of any given station with music, jingles, adverts,
voice links and re-recorded audio items stored on the Myriad system, available for playback in a number of different ways from any
Myriad workstation.
One of the most important factors in Myriad's
success has been the flexibility that the system offers. Whether you
want to run your station as a 'free choice' station with presenters
free to browse your audio catalogue and play what they like, a 'live
assist' station where a pre-selected schedule is available for the presenter
to work with, or a full automated service, Myriad will do the job for
